Located on its rocky peak, halfway between Carpentras and Vaison-la-Romaine, Le Barroux is a picturesque village full of charm.
This hilltop village offers a magnificent panorama of the plain of Comtat, the Mounts of Vaucluse, the Dentelles of Montmirail and of course the Ventoux.

The Barroux is best known for its castle which stands like an eagle's nest hanging at the top of the village and its Benedictine abbey founded in 1970.
